Terms of Service

Last updated September 3, 2026

These terms govern your use of PWAfy, a browser-based tool that generates Progressive Web App files (a manifest, icon set, splash screens, and a service worker) from a website you provide. By using PWAfy, you agree to the terms below.

1. What PWAfy does and doesn't do

PWAfy generates PWA-related files client-side, in your browser. It does not host, mirror, or rehost your website, and it does not modify your live site. You're responsible for copying the generated files onto your own server or hosting provider.

The optional "scan a URL" feature fetches the public HTML of a page you provide to pre-fill the builder. This request is proxied through our server so we can read response headers your browser otherwise couldn't; we do not store the fetched page content beyond a short cache used to speed up repeat scans of the same URL.

2. Accounts

Creating an account is optional and only required to save brand presets or unlock a paid plan. We use passwordless sign-in (a one-time email link). We never store a password for your account.

3. Plans and billing

The Free plan allows one build per account or browser session. Studio and Agency are paid monthly subscriptions, billed in Nigerian naira (NGN), payable by card or direct bank transfer. Card and transfer payments are processed by Paystack; we do not receive or store your card details.

Subscriptions do not renew automatically via saved card details unless you explicitly re-subscribe; each plan period runs for 30 days from a successful payment. You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account menu, which returns you to the Free plan immediately. No partial refund is issued for the remaining days of the current period.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us with your account email and payment reference and we'll investigate.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the URL-scan feature to probe, scrape, or attack systems you don't have permission to access. Don't attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan restrictions, or authentication. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

5. No warranty

PWAfy is provided as-is. The quality score is a best-effort check against common installability criteria and is not a guarantee that a generated PWA will pass every browser's or app store's requirements. Review the generated files before deploying them to production.

6. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
